Meet Sam, the proud owner and operator of Office Bar Bistro in Kitimat. For the past five years, Sam has been a dedicated fixture in the local hospitality scene, driven by a single, unwavering goal: to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable flavors to the community he loves.

But Sam’s culinary journey started long before the Bistro. Fifteen years ago, he launched his very first restaurant, a highly successful Indian takeout operation called Tandoori Grill. The restaurant industry is notoriously challenging, and the past decade has tested operators with recessions, a global pandemic, and constant shifts. Through it all, Sam learned exactly what it takes not just to survive, but to adapt and thrive.

Now, he is merging his dynamic present with a cherished piece of his past. By reviving the spirit of Tandoori Grill right here in his hometown of Kitimat, Sam alongside his partner Anurag is bringing his journey full circle, uniting years of industry resilience with their passion for incredible food.
